What this website does and doesn't do with your data — in plain language, not legalese.

borisdracka.com itself collects nothing. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking scripts, no advertising pixels. The site is static HTML. A few pages use small bits of client-side JavaScript purely for visual effects, like scroll animations — none of it collects data, sets cookies, or talks to any server. If you subscribe to the newsletter, that happens on a separate platform (Beehiiv), described below.

This website does not set any cookies and does not store anything in your browser's local storage. There is no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other analytics or advertising tracker on any page of this site. Fonts used on this site are hosted directly on this domain rather than loaded from Google's servers, so no data about your visit is sent to Google or any other third party just by loading a page.
The "Subscribe" button takes you to a signup page on Beehiiv (borisdracka.beehiiv.com), a third-party newsletter platform. If you sign up there, Beehiiv processes your email address on its own infrastructure, under its own privacy policy — including any transfer of data outside the EU/EEA, which Beehiiv covers in its own terms. Boris Dračka receives your email address through Beehiiv in order to send you the CFO Unfiltered newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email.
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.). Like any web host, GitHub's infrastructure may log basic technical request data (such as IP address and timestamp) as part of normal server operation and security monitoring. This site has no direct access to those server logs.
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data held about you, and to object to or restrict its processing. For anything Boris Dračka directly controls (such as an email you send to the contact address above), reach out to likeaCFO@borisdracka.com. For your newsletter subscription data, you can also exercise these rights directly with Beehiiv.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Slovakia, that's the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR).
